TikTok has New Options That Could Help You Out

TikTok’s new options have made swiping and video editing much easier.

TikTok New Feature

A lot of users have expressed their frustration when accidentally refreshing their For You Page and losing the video they were on. Creators have also felt frustration when editing their videos and finding spelling errors right after it’s been posted. Now there is a handy solution to this.

UNDO

An “undo” button is currently being tested to undo the refresh of the For You Page so that users can go back to the video they were on, in case the refresh was a mistake. Many users have lost videos by accidentally clicking or touching the refresh button so this option will help users navigate to their favorite videos and creators.

Posted Drafts

Another feature that was added was the posted drafts button. This feature lets creators correct their mistakes in the videos that have already been uploaded. The app will automatically save the posted videos under a folder called “Posted Drafts”, the video stays there for 3 days, and during that time the creator can go and correct any misspellings or edit mistakes instead of having the creator redo the entire video.

@kontentqueen You can now revise your TikTok’s. For the longest time once the video was posted we had no way of changing or fixing a TikTok. So all those nasty spelling mistakes would just sit there in horror. We couldn’t even edit the cover page or description/caption. But now we can. Once you post your TikTok it will sit in your drafts folder under “recently posted drafts” so you can edit them if need be and repost. They will only be available for 3 days. #tiktokdrafts #recentlyposteddraft #recentlyposteddrafts #howtofixatiktok #howtoeditatiktok #kontentqueen #katiewilliams ♬ original sound – Katie | TikTok Audits & Canva
