TWITTER INTRODUCES A CREATOR DASHBOARD TO ITS PLATFORM

Influencers can finally track their monetization efforts on this app.

Most content creators these days are looking for different ways to monetize their work and Twitter has made it easier for its users to do so.

With this new feature, Twitter is attempting to keep its users on the app and encourage them to grow their following by allowing them to understand where their earnings are coming from.

Twitter further explains the motives behind this new move:

“[Creator Dashboard] is designed to help creators further understand how they make money on Twitter and how much they are earning from monetization features, Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows. Easily accessible from the Monetization tab, the dashboard is a clear way for creators to search through their payment history and see details about upcoming payouts.”

On-platform engagement is expected to grow with this update as top users should be enticed to post more content to test out which of their tweets are gaining more insights and eventually build their presence on the app in a more strategic way.

However, not everyone will have access to the dashboard. For now, only US creators on iOS who have more than ten thousand followers and have already participated in Super Follows or Ticketed Spaces can benefit from it. Nonetheless, Twitter announced that it is looking to build on this dashboard over time to assist a wider range of creators to trace their revenue streams.

This feature is definitely worth tuning in; we can’t wait to see if and how Twitter creators will benefit from it.
