X Updates App Icon
X has updated their default app icon, and it is causing users to have some fun on the social media platform.
Since Elon Musk bought Twitter in October 2022, he has made several changes to the social media application. Musk recently rebranded Twitter as an “X” that he believes better describes Twitter as an “everything app”.

Another recent update made by Musk included putting a limit on how many posts each account can see. These temporary limits were placed in order to “address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation”, according to Musk.
To address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation, we’ve applied the following temporary limits:

– Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day
– Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day
– New unverified accounts to 300/day

More and more users have taken to Twitter to share their disdain or their appreciation of the latest changes on the social media platform. One user posted that the new update made the application look “like an ancient relic or historically important piece of iconography”.
