Madeline 101
You’ve probably come across Madeline Ford on TikTok’s beauty and fashion side. She’s one of several content creators who has been able to build a following and a business out of posting on TikTok, which she began doing in 2019. Ford’s TikTok has risen to over 2 million followers because to her diverse material, which includes fashion, cosmetics, hair, and touching storytime videos.
Ford is a model in addition to her TikTok profession. She began modeling in 2014, but has since stepped away to focus on social media. “Because modeling is so inconsistent and time-consuming, TikTok has become my primary source of income.” “I also have to leave my house for modeling, which I don’t enjoy,” Ford explains exclusively to Her Campus.
“I think I’m really lucky because having a social media presence allows me to be picky about the modeling jobs I take.” If they fly me somewhere cool or it’s a huge campaign or anything, I’ll do it instead of just doing e-commerce shots like I used to.”
Daily life x mental health
Ford has been using TikTok for four years and continues to share content on a regular basis. Though it may be difficult for some to come up with content ideas, Ford does not have that problem. “My content is heavily influenced by my daily life.” I frequently discuss my mental health… I guess it’s just because I’m extremely honest with everything I’m going through, which makes it a lot easier to live with content.”
“It’s really important for me to relate to people or inspire them in some way, whether it’s young women, mental health, sexuality, or whatever it is,” she adds. As long as that concept runs across my videos, I feel morally on the right track.
Affordable Beauty Tips
Madeline declares that she adores the Saie Super Glow.” It only makes you shine.” I enjoy looking dewy. I also enjoy using eyebrow gel and dye. Living Proof Dry Shampoo is my favorite hair product. Because I don’t wash my hair very often, I go through a lot of dry shampoo. I also enjoy using the dae Prickly Pear Hair Oil. “I enjoy anything that makes me shine and smell good.”
Dealing with Hate
@madelineaford Maybe I’m always speaking in questions because I’m so used to being cut off.

While many people love Ford’s content and often find elements in her life to which they can identify, she, like many other content providers, is subjected to trolls and online hate. “To be honest, I’m not very good at dealing with negative or hateful comments.” “Because I’m a very intense person, when TikTok started doing well, I kind of put all my eggs in one basket, which was unhealthy for me,” she adds.
Ford eventually discovered a technique to deal with the negativity. “I’ve been working hard in therapy to improve my self-esteem. “Music exposure therapy and my therapist are extremely beneficial,” she says. Ford also attributes much of her self-esteem to improv classes because “you have to be so brave to go on stage and be silly.”
