The four-day event is projected to be a valuable addition to the world fashion calendar, honoring Saudi Arabia’s cultural and artistic expressions inspired by its past and future.

From October 20 to 23, the festival aims to revolutionize Saudi fashion by highlighting local creatives and sustainable workmanship. The first Riyadh Fashion Week, hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission, will begin with a highly anticipated show by an unnamed designer at a location to be announced soon.The second day will present intricate and one-of-a-kind couture and bridal collections while the following two days see an array of menswear and womenswear brands on the runway.
Saudi couturiers may already have a reputation for dramatic luxury and grandeur, while Kingdom designers are recognized for crafting high-end bespoke items, but fashion week allows them to exhibit their expertise to a much larger audience. The agenda includes both new and known brands like as Adnan Akbar, Tima Abid, Yousef Akbar, Atelier Hekayat, and many more.
This festival of local fashion and culture, held in Riyadh’s burgeoning new hotspot, King Abdullah Financial District, reflects Saudi Arabia’s dedication to embracing the future while remaining faithful to its past. In addition to the runway shows, the event will offer a separate showroom where buyers can explore the collections, which include accessories and jewelry. If you are unable to go to Riyadh in time, don’t worry; the event will be broadcast live to everyone.
2023 highlights
Last year, the inaugural Riyadh Fashion Week was held at KAFD, with the twisting runway set against a beautiful background of artificial sand dunes and accommodating hundreds of guests and celebrities.
Among the notable designers who participated were the legendary “Adnan Akbar Fashion House” (established by the visionary Saudi designer Adnan Akbar in 1970), Yousef Akbar, Atelier Hekayat, Tima Abid, Dar Alhanouf, Dazluq, and many others.
