The Tim Burton-directed Netflix series “Wednesday” has garnered a lot of love and fame for its dark humor, great casting, witty storytelling, and more. On TikTok, Jenna Ortega’s dance scene has gone viral and many creators have hopped on the dance challenge.

The Netflix video of the dance has gathered 17 million views in 2 weeks and the #wednesdaydance has received 480 million views on TikTok. In an interview, Jenna remarked that she researched different dances in the 80s and came up with this choreography which the cast had agreed was the highlight of the show.

In the series, the song Jenna had danced to was “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps; however, the song that was paired with Jenna’s choreography in the TikTok dance challenge videos was Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary”. The trend has creators dressed in gothic clothing and dancing to Jenna’s choreography with a straight deadpan face. Many influencers like Abby Roberts, Sidra Hafeez, and Selin Red dressed and danced to the challenge as not only her choreography but also Jenna’s styles and looks in the show are also trending.
